1 What is your returns policy?

Please select your purchases carefully, as we do not provide ‘change of mind’ returns.

If you believe a product acquired from the Canon Store is defective, you may have a right of return and/or other remedies under either our voluntary warranty (please refer to the Warranty Card which will be supplied with your product) and/or the Consumer Guarantees provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (for further information, see www.consumerlaw.gov.au).

In addition, we provide an easy online process for returning products in certain circumstances within 21 days of delivery. Those circumstances include
  • Product is DOA (Dead On Arrival)
  • Product sent is different to product ordered
  • Product arrived damaged

2 How do I return an item?

Returns can be initiated by visiting the Canon Store and logging into your MyCanon account.

Once you have logged in, simply follow the 3 steps below.
  1. Go to “My Orders” within MyCanon.
  2. Select the “Return Items” box on the right. If you have multiple orders, please go to the order that has the item you wish to return.
  3. Complete the Return Items Online Form and
    1. Select the product you wish to return.
    2. Choose a reason for the return from the drop box menu available.
    3. Update # of cartons you are returning (so we know how many to expect).
    4. Finally, click “Submit”.

Once we have confirmed that your return is authorized, a confirmation message will be sent to you, you can now view the barcode & mailing label within your return details in MyCanon. The label must be affixed to the product, to enable the return to be processed and tracked.

    Please note:
    • Partial returns will not be accepted. Should there be an issue with one component of the product e.g. battery, the whole pack will need to be returned and subsequently replaced.
    • If you have ordered a bundle and one or more item in the bundle is faulty, we request that you only return the faulty item – which we will subsequently replace once we receive the item.
    • All products need to be returned to Canon via Australia Post using the provided mailing label & barcode.
    • Products should be packed and returned in their original packaging.

3 How will I know if Canon has received my returned product?

You can track the status of your returned product through the MyCanon website.

Our warehouse will confirm receipt of your return by changing the status of your return to “complete”, which will then trigger a replacement product to be sent to you. You will receive an email confirming your replacement order.
