EF 50mm f/1.8 STM is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Lens for starter cinema filmakers! No i dont mean blockbuster films or cinema movies, i mean youtube music videos like Logan Paul. This lens is really good for low light as mentioned in the brochure, i could take really nice photos with my setup in low light and the results were amazing! the photos mostly rely on the camera but the images that came out were very good! I am filming a movie and this lens is getting all the work done for the low light conditions. other than being great in low light it's also compact and light. Now the Downsides.... the Lens isn't a wide angle lens and can't zoom out to get the rest of the picture. things are hard without the image stabilization. over all the lens is really good and every person doing filmmaking should pick one up!
