Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile & powerful I have been using this camera every day for the past five months & can only talk about it in superlatives. I have been shooting a number of genres: from portraits, macros to landscapes but also put it to the test with fast paced wildlife photography and it never let me down. The hybrid AF system is absolutely amazing, super customisable. The in camera menu was at first a bit overwhelming but well thought out and the wide array of options is extremely useful. I am also amazed by its low light performance. I use it together with a 35mm f/1.4L II & it is an absolute killer combo when shooting hend held with almost zero ambient light. I recently started using it for videos as well and the quality is stunning at 4k, the only negative I’d say are the huge files due to zero compression but it also yields ridiculously detailed footage in Motion JPEG format. My absolute favourite is the super slow-motion as with a bit of practice one can take amazing cinematic shots even without a stabiliser. The colour rendition is also exquisite as one would expect which definitely helps with cutting down on time spent post processing. The other huge positives for me are its durability, reliable weather sealing and last but not least its ergonomic build which suits my hands to a tee. Overall I’m supper happy with the product and looking forward to working with this machine for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go To Camera As far as usability there's no camera as good as this one. In studio or on location, when time is tight, when light is low, when the elements are against you I feel as though this camera just seems to get you out of trouble. The really fast frames per second, usable at high ISO's, incredibly reliable auto focus, the plethora of lenses made for it and the ease of use make it like a technical insurance policy, you just need to bring the art.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Ideal Camera for in the Field! I've been using this camera in many different scenarios and it really is a dream camera for me. I work in the adventure industry and this camera withstands the elements and can handle a few knocks. The features of high ISO, fast focusing, and much more make my job much easier and I'll continue to work with this camera for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best 1 Series Yet! I bought 2 of these as my main kit when they came out and wasn't disappointed. Incredible performance, superb image quality as well as fastest and most precise AF to date. Shooting 4k or slo-mo video is a breeze with the tracking focus. A perfect camera for any assignment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Immaculate Workhorse At a glance, the new 1DX II is an absolute workhorse. It delivers when used at all times. Amazing ISO paired with an incredible noise reduction will allow you to work under the hardest and most challenging light conditions. In depth, this camera has everything a sports enthusiast, photo journalist, street & wedding photographer could ever ask for. I love how you can personalise each individual feature this camera has to offer, all available and adjustable to your level of expertise. CANON - bravo!
