Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap basic printer for home Comes with no USB cable - unbelievable in this day and age. C'mon Canon, you could do better with just adding wifi to it. Can't connect to it using phone or tablet. Has to be a usb cable connection - painful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why winge Pick up the box, noted on the box NO USB GABLE INCLUDED. Had it installed in 15 minutes including reading the instructions, work perfectly well and also purchased a spare ink box, print and scan no issue and I,m not to savy in computers at 75, what is your problems. Good item for the money, what you expect anyway. Recommend if you want a basic printer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How to sell a useless printer. I bought this printer yesterday. Yes it is a budget printer but given the priced of ink replacement cartridges why would you buy anything else? So I get the package home, open it up and no connection cable. In fine fine or miniscule print is advice hidden from view that there is no cable supplied. This is like selling a car without a steering wheel. I had bad experiences with Canon before and this finally confirms my views I will never buy another Canon product ever. They just cannot be trusted to supply a workable usefuel product without seriously inconvieniancing the customer. I now have to drive over 100km to purchase a cable but I will not be purchasing a cable but another brand of printer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but irritating Costs less Money to buy a new printer (another brand?) when it runs out of ink lol pure genius right there?? Items should work out of the box, this doesn’t so is almsot useless and definitely irritating. But easily fixed by buying a USB printer cable supplied by anyone other then canon because why would you give the people who caused the bother anymore money??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No usb cable How would you think about selling a printer without usb cable, bought this scan a urgent document but opened the box no usb cable in it, dislike it
Date published: 2018-03-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Little Printer The MG2560 is the perfect home printer. It's quiet, prints out what I need printed, and scans things I need scanned. I don't know why the other reviews are so poor, mine came with a usb and, upon installing the drivers from the Canon website, scans documents just fine. As a uni student, I go through a fair bit of printing and the only downside to any printer is that the ink is expensive on a budget. But overall, it suits my needs perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ink usage Am printing just 4 lines of black text on some pamphlets. After 2,000 prints it runs out of ink. Is this normal for a unit like this?
